From my old times

During the last couple of weeks I have been thinking a lot about the route that my photography has taken. Actually, I have been missing my old days when I used to play around with technique much more, just for fun. Got good results though!
These are from a old project using family slides. I really treasure them!

The Flip Flop Group

ruffled his hair

after all

never cooked her food

was gravelled

Last Saturday I participated of the Shoot London Event (http://www.shootexperience.co.uk/) at Tate Modern with my friends Carolina Fontes, Erika Tambke and Marina Silva. The four of us formed the Flip Flop Group!

During the event, teams were given different parts of a written story and sent to the streets to find inspiration and take photos that represented each phrase or word.

At the end of the day all photos were compiled to create a photographic storyboard that was presented on a big screen in the Turbine Hall at Tate Modern.

These are our representation of the following phrases: Add Image
300 - was gravelled
528 - after all
432 - never cooked her food
150 - ruffled his hair

Can't choose my favourite :-)

London Marathon: Asthma UK Reception

This was the second time that I covered the London Marathon Reception for Asthma UK.
It is such a great event and to have the chance to portray the many emotions, smiles and the expressions of achievement from the runners it is a real privilege.
My favourite images are the ones from the Massage. I love the relief and excitement of the runners.

The irresistable

I had the most amazing Easter with my friends Priscilla and Marcelo and their son Bernardo. They came from Rio to spend the Easter break with us and we had loads of fun together and finally some time to catch up.
Of course I couldn't miss the opportunity to take some photographs of the irresistable Bernardo. My favourite performer! He was quite tired after a day out in London, but still did an amazing job!

Tina Baker is Back

These were part of Asthma UK's new campaign "Putting Asthma in the Limelight". The briefing was to take a series of portraits of Tina Baker dressed as a lime green version of a famous soap character Bet Lynch. Isn't Tina great?
